Two Unclaimed Bags Were Found In Delhi’s Trilokpuri

Two unclaimed bags were found in Delhi’s Trilokpuri, police breathed a sigh of relief after investigation.

Nothing suspicious has been found in two unclaimed bags found in East Delhi’s Trilokpuri. North Delhi DCP Priyanka Kashyap said that a call had come to a PCR of the Kalyanpuri police station.

The caller said that two unclaimed bags have been kept under pillar number-59 of the metro flyover near the mosque. When the police reached the spot and investigated, nothing suspicious was found.

Laptop, mobile and some personal belongings and documents were kept in the bag. After checking the documents, it was found that the bag belonged to Somesh Gupta.

The owner of the bag has been called to the police station for questioning.

Earlier, the area where the unclaimed bag was found was sealed. Bomb disposal squad was also called.

Along with this, some senior police officers also reached the spot. The police heaved a sigh of relief when some explosive things like bombs were not found in the bag.

Earlier on January 14, an unclaimed bag was found in Ghazipur Phool Mandi. A bomb was found in this bag. After this, the police had vacated the flower market. The bomb was detonated by placing it in a pit.

The target of terrorists can also be the Republic Day parade. In such a situation, all the central agencies are on alert.
