Two Islamic State Terrorists Killed In Pakistan

Two Islamic State terrorists were killed in Pakistan, and they had claimed suicide attacks on a religious procession.

Two terrorists involved in the terrorist attacks in Balochistan, Pakistan was linked to the Islamic State.

According to news in Pakistan’s Newspaper, the two terrorists killed by the Anti-Terrorism Department of Sindh Police were related to the banned terrorist organization Islamic State Khorasan group.

Both these terrorists had also planned to carry out a suicide attack during a large religious procession in the city.

Giving information related to the terror attack, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Asif Ejaz Sheikh told reporters that on Saturday night they killed two terrorists in an encounter on the outskirts of the city.

Four police officers were also injured in the encounter with these Islamic State terrorists.

It was confirmed that the two killed were the wanted terrorists of Islamic State Khorasan, Syed Aimal Khan alias Hamza, and Abdullah alias Mamoom.

Hamza Pishin and Mamum were residents of Quetta. Both were involved in several major terrorist acts in Balochistan.

He told that these terrorists were planning a suicide attack on the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal procession, which was to be taken out on 7 or 8 October.

Muslims take out this procession to celebrate the birth of the Prophet.

Sheikh said that both the terrorists were also the main conspirators of the suicide attack in the parking lot of Serena Hotel in Quetta in April 2021. Five people were killed in this incident.

Sheikh said he was also involved in the killing of a senior official of the counter-terrorism department in Balochistan.

The presence of these terrorists suggests that they had easy refuge in the city and were associated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Taliban or IS.
