Twitter admits its mistake, Home minister Amit Shah’s profile photo revisited.

The spokesperson of micro-blogging website Twitter has admitted and clarified his mistake regarding the removal of profile photo from the account of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday.

Accordingly, the Home Minister’s account was temporarily blocked due to unintentional mistake.

The Twitter spokesperson said, ‘We had temporarily locked up Home Minister Amit Shah’s account due to an inadvertent mistake.

Immediately this mistake was rectified and his profile photo has been installed, now his account is active.

Let us know that on Thursday, the profile photo suddenly disappeared from the Twitter account of Home Minister Amit Shah, soon after which other users started sharing screenshots.

However, instead of the profile picture, there was a Twitter notice asking for the removal of the profile photo as part of the copyright case.

After this, the profile photo has started appearing again but till now it is not clear who took the copyright case on the picture of the Home Minister.

The profile photo of the official Twitter handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was also removed by Twitter a few days ago and cited as the reason for the copyright infringement.

The number of Twitter followers of Home Minister Amit Shah is more than 23 million.

The High Level Committee, chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, has approved funding for 6 states of the country affected by hurricanes, floods and landslides.

These states include the names of West Bengal, Odisha, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Sikkim which have been given a fund of Rs 4,381.88 crore.

This year there was an outbreak of floods and landslides in these states besides cyclonic storms Amphan and Nisarga.

The High Level Commission (HLC), led by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, has approved additional central assistance to 6 states under the National Disaster Response Fund, NDRF.

After this approval, 6 states of the country will be given Rs 4,381.88 crore. Rs 2,707.77 crore has been given to West Bengal and Rs 128.23 crore to Odisha due to cyclonic storms.

At the same time, Maharashtra will be given an assistance of Rs 268.59 crore for Hurricane Nisarga.
