Eight people, including four policemen, were killed on Wednesday in a clash between militant outfit Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) supporters and the police.

In the bloodbath that took place 50 km from Lahore, radical miscreants ran and shot the policemen. TLP supporters moving towards Islamabad clashed with the police in Sadhoke, about 50 km from Lahore.

TLP supporters were lathi-charged here as well as tear gas was fired. But in response, TLP activists started firing with AK 47 and other automatic weapons.

This led to a stampede among the policemen who came to control the law and order and within a short time dozens of policemen fell on the ground in injured condition and started suffering.

After this, the police also took the lead and started answering the bullet with bullets.

It is learned that on receiving the information, the security forces arrived by helicopter, and to control the situation, they fired from a height.

TLP activists fired at police: More than ten thousand security personnel were deployed in the area.

In view of the tension in the area, rangers have been deployed along the border. Ten thousand policemen have been called from Lahore and deployed.

Mobile and internet services in the area have been suspended. TLP spokesman Ibn Ismail said four of their workers were killed in direct police firing.

He said that the policemen came from the helicopter and opened fire on the agitators. So far 18 people, including seven policemen, have died in the TLP agitation that has been going on for a week.

Not made by TLP, Imran government’s sweat, Islamabad sealed to stop protests

The Imran government’s deal with Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan’s, TLP has not materialized. TLP has instructed its workers to travel to Islamabad.

The government’s hands have swelled over fears of massive protests and uproar.

As a result, law enforcement agencies and security forces in Islamabad and Rawalpindi have started sealing roads with containers to prevent protesters of the banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) from entering the city.

According to the report of the news agency, the district administrations of Rawalpindi and Islamabad have blocked the Faizabad intersection on Tuesday at midnight.

At the same time, government agencies and security forces started sealing the surrounding areas and roads with containers to stop the banned TLP protesters.

Not only this, to quell the protests, the police have again started raids at the residence of TLP’s Rawalpindi chief. However, he is yet to be arrested.
