The tiger, which has become synonymous with terror in 40 villages in the last 2 months in UP’s Lakhimpur Kheri, has finally been caught by the forest department.

The forest department caught the Tiger by tranquilizing him.

Hearing the news of the capture of the tiger, the villagers of the area heaved a sigh of relief and a large number of people gathered at the spot to see the caged tiger.

In the area around Marocha village of Palia tehsil area, it had become difficult for people to leave their homes for two months due to the fear of the Tiger.

The tiger attacked and killed a 10-year-old child. At the same time, many people were also injured in his attack. Apart from this, the tiger had also made dozens of cattle its prey.

After the continuous killing of people due to tiger attacks, the forest department team installed cages at many places and had also taken permission for tranquilizing.

On Tuesday, the same tiger was tranquilized and imprisoned in a cage by the Forest Department team. Thousands of villagers kept peeping into the cage to see the tiger.

At last, there was happiness on the faces of the villagers that the tiger, out of fear of which they were unable to come out, was finally caught.

On the other hand, elderly Jagdish says that it was necessary to catch the tiger because it was constantly being seen in this area and due to this people in the area had stopped leaving their homes.

At this time sugarcane harvesting was going on, and we are feeling very relieved.

Tiger’s future will be decided after the investigation.

Sundresh Kumar, DFO of the North Forest Division of Lakhimpur Kheri told that the team of the forest department was continuously tracing this tiger.

This morning a sugarcane field was cordoned off from three sides with a net and specialist Dr. Daya tranquilized it from the fourth side with the help of elephants.

Now we have brought it to the base camp of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve. After investigation, we will be able to decide what to do next with this tiger. Should be sent to the zoo or left back in the wild.
