Rampal, a villager present on the spot, said that the capture of the tiger has relieved the villagers from his terror. For the last 2 months, it had become difficult to leave the house.

This morning a sugarcane field was cordoned off from three sides with a net and specialist Dr. Daya tranquilized it from the fourth side with the help of elephants.

Now we have brought it to the base camp of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve. After investigation, we will be able to decide what to do next with this tiger. Should be sent to the zoo or left back in the wild.
