Three Variants Of Coronavirus Have Caused The Most Damage

Three variants of coronavirus have caused the most damage to India, know what experts say. The second wave of Coronavirus in India has caused deep concern from the government to experts and people.

The second wave began in February 2021 when there was a sudden spurt in cases of corona infection in the country.

After this, its speed surprised not only the country but also the foreign countries. This wave was so strong that it had not been guessed before.

In the second wave, the new cases of corona infection reported daily exceeded 4 lakhs. However, it is a matter of relief that now there is a decline in these cases.

This is the reason that experts are assuming that the highest level of the second wave in the country has now come out. Experts also say that now the cases will continue slowly but in a period of decline.

Let us tell you that the three variants or types of coronavirus which have caused the most damage in India include B117, B1618, and B1167.

Of these, B1167 is considered by the World Health Organization to be the most dangerous. The organization says that the transition from this variant spreads very quickly.

Perhaps this is the reason why experts say that in the second wave of Corona that has come in India, about 50 percent of the country’s population has come under the scanner.

According to a report published in the science journal Nature, new forms of coronavirus are coming out which are more contagious than before. Things are getting worse because of them.

Talking about B117, it was first detected in Britain, but despite this, its effect was seen more in India. Its spread was also seen more rapidly in India.

There were many cases of this in Punjab including the capital Delhi. Similarly, the first case of B1618 came out in West Bengal. This change in the form of the virus started from here. After this, it was also spread very fast.

There were many cases of this in Delhi as well. B1167 has been fatal in all of these. Outbreak in Maharashtra has been seen more.

Apart from this, many other states have suffered a lot due to this. At present, cases of this variant have been reported in most of the states of the country. Its most effect is on the patient’s lungs.

According to Cambridge University, the impact of this variant of the virus was so widespread that it was heavily affected by all the variants encountered before now.

The pace of its transition was also much faster than before. Experts also believe that the main reason for this may also be that the B1617 has more adaptability than other variants.

Microbial genomic Nick Loman of the University of Birmingham, UK, says that the speed at which the virus has spread in India has raised fears that it may have many other variants.

To detect this, genome sequencing has to be accelerated.
