Three-story building collapses in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur, 3 children were killed; Rescue operation was underway.

Three children and an old woman were killed when an old three-story building collapsed due to heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur district’s Kadiri town late last night.

Rescue operation continues. More than four people are still trapped under the rubble of the building.

Let us tell you that due to heavy rains in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh, a flood-like situation has arisen, due to which 12 people have died and 18 people are missing.

Three buses of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation were stuck in the floods at Mandapalle, Akepadu, and Nandaluru villages in which 30 people are feared to have been washed away.

Chief Minister YS Reddy will conduct an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas today.

At the same time, nine people were killed when a house collapsed in Tamil Nadu’s Vellore district on Friday due to heavy rains.

The dead included four women, four children, and a man. The house collapsed while the family was sleeping.
