The US Supported Direct Dialogue Between Ind-PAK. The US again supported the direct dialogue between India and Pakistan on the Kashmir issue.

The US has once again supported the direct dialogue between India and Pakistan on the Kashmir issue. US State Department Spokesperson Ned Price said, “We condemn the terrorists who cross the Line of Control and infiltrate.”

Let me tell you that with the change of power in America, the question was arising whether the policy of the Biden administration regarding Kashmir would be like former President Donald Trump.

Now the Biden administration has given a strong indication that America is not going to change its policy regarding Jammu and Kashmir.

However, the Biden administration seems more vocal about initiating peace talks between India and Pakistan than Trump.

Many people believe this view of the Biden administration even after the recent ceasefire between India and Pakistan.

Ned Price stated clearly that there would be no change in US policy regarding Jammu and Kashmir. In Jammu and Kashmir, the US has welcomed India to completely normalize economic and political conditions under democratic values.

However, it has not been clear from the US that relations with India and Pakistan have their own importance for the US.

According to Ned Price, the US can have a positive and constructive relationship with both countries. This is the reason why he said that the US is in favor of a direct dialogue between India and Pakistan on Kashmir.

Not only this, but the strategic importance with India has also been underlined and it is said that there is a wide strategic relationship between India and the US from the global perspective.

While the US also has a shared interest with Pakistan. The US has indicated to talk about it further.
