Out of these, 4 leaders are from Congress, the names of former ministers Sukhjinder Randhawa, Vijay Inder Singla, Gurkeerat Kotli, and former MLA Parminder Singh Pinky are also included.

According to the alert, the terrorist is planning to attack Chandigarh and Mohali.

After the alert, Punjab Police and Maharashtra ATS arrested a suspect in a joint operation. The suspect was planning to plant a bomb in the car of Punjab Police sub-inspector Dilbag Singh.

Chandigarh airport will now be named after Bhagat Singh, Punjab and Haryana agree.

The governments of Punjab and Haryana on Saturday agreed to name the Chandigarh airport after freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.

The decision was taken in a meeting between Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on the issue.

Chief Minister Mann tweeted, ‘Punjab and Haryana have agreed to name Chandigarh International Airport after Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji.

The Punjab government in the year 2017 demanded that the airport at Mohali should be named ‘Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport.

The Haryana government had no objection to the name of Bhagat Singh but had expressed concern over the use of the name for the airport.
