Interior ministry spokesman Saeed Khosti tweeted on Tuesday, Haqqani, while addressing a gathering on Monday evening, remembered the fighters killed in the suicide attacks as martyrs.

Haqqani described these suicide bombers as heroes of Islam and the country.

Promise to give land with 10 thousand Afghani dollars.

At the end of the meeting, Haqqani promised 10,000 Afghanis (about $112) and land to the families of each suicide bomber killed, according to the spokesman.

The spokesperson also shared a picture of a packed hotel auditorium, in which Haqqani’s face has been blurred.
