The government of Telangana gives Rs 5,000 as an honorarium every month to the Imams and Muezzins of the state, thousands of Imams and Muezzins are benefiting from this government scheme.

Thousands of Imams and Muezzins of the state are benefiting every month from this scheme. This amount will be distributed to all the mosques in the state through Telangana Waqf Board.

It should be noted that this scheme is not new. This honorarium is being given for years on the directions given by the Supreme Court.

Talking to the media, Hafeez Mohammad Abdullah, an Imam said, ‘I am Imam at Jama Masjid, Mohammad Lane for the last 8 to 10 years, I thank KCR sir for giving me a monthly salary of Rs 5,000.

I hope that it will continue for a long time.’ He further said, ‘I also thank Owaisi sir and the local MLA.

The amount you are giving us, the financial help that is being given by the government, is a unique initiative.

No government has helped us in this way, but KCR sir is doing it. I pray to Allah to give him good health.

Another Imam, Mohammad Salauddin Azam, said, ‘For the past 40 years, he has been working here as an Imam.

I thank KCR sir that we are given a salary of Rs 5,000 every month, we are getting this only because of KCR sir, I pray God to bless him with good health.

Chennai: Due to financial constraints, the man took the dreadful step, killing his wife and two children with a sharp weapon and killing himself.

A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Chennai.

Here a 41-year-old man killed his wife and two young children with an electric woodcutter and then committed suicide. This case is from Pazhichalur in Pallavaram.

According to the police, this horrific incident came to light when neighbors went near the house on the basis of suspicion and found the four people covered in blood.

The step was taken due to financial constraints.

After this incident, there is a wave of shock in the locality. A senior police officer said that the man apparently committed the crime due to financial constraints.

The deceased have been identified as Prakash (41), his wife Gayatri, and two children aged 13 and nine. Police said the bodies have been sent to Chromepet Government Hospital for post-mortem.
