Suraj Panwar Will Participate In World Race Walking Championship

Suraj Panwar will participate in the World Race Walking Championship, has given gold to the country in the Youth Olympics.

Young sprinter Suraj Panwar won the country’s gold medal in the Youth Olympics 2018.

He will participate in the World Race Walking Championship to be held in Muscat, the capital of Oman, on March 4 and 5.

His goal is to get tickets for the Asian and Commonwealth Games from this competition.

Sooraj says that this is his first tournament outside the country in the senior category, so the weather conditions there will matter a lot in performance.

Suraj Panwar is involved in the ongoing National Camp at Sai Hostel in Bangalore.

Sooraj has been preparing there for the last two months. Sooraj told that his aim is on winning Asian Games and Commonwealth Games.

He will try to get tickets for Asian Games and Commonwealth Games from the World Race Walking Championship to be held in Muscat.

Suraj said that after Muscat, the competition is to be held in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. He can also qualify for Asian Games and Commonwealth Games.

He said that this is my first tournament on foreign soil in the senior category, so I will try to finish my race with better timing.

He said that the preparations have been going on for a long time, due to the arrival of the Sai Center, the preparations have accelerated. The team will leave for Muscat near March 1.

The benefit of Anoop’s direction.

Suraj Panwar’s coach is Uttarakhand Dronacharya Award winner Anoop Bisht. Anoop is posted as Deputy District Sports Officer in Sports Department.

Apart from this, there is an athletics coach in the excellence wing of Maharana Pratap Sports College.

Sooraj Panwar told that he has always benefited from the direction of coach Anoop Bisht. Despite being in the Sai Center, there is regular interaction with the coach.
