Stock market opens with gains today; Major stocks include TCS, Bajaj Auto: Stock Market. The stock market is trading strongly on Monday, the first trading day of the week. Today, the 30-share BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 259.73 points at 38,956.78. On the other hand, NSE Nifty, the 50-share major index, opened with a gain of 70.85 points at 11,487.80.

On October 2, Friday, the Indian stock market was closed due to Gandhi Jayanti. The domestic stock market closed at the market edge on the previous trading day. The Sensex was up 629.12 points at 38697.05, up 1.65 percent. At the same time, the Nifty closed at the level of 11416.95 with a gain of 169.40 points, 1.51 percent.

Today’s major stocks TCS, Bajaj Auto, HDFC Life, UPL and Cipla opened on the green mark. Grasim, Bharti Airtel, BPCL, Axis Bank and ONGC started at the red mark.

Foreign portfolio investors remained net sellers in September after three consecutive months of investment, withdrawing Rs 3,419 crore

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) have taken a very cautious approach in September. FPI made net withdrawals in September after three months of continuous investment.

FPI has withdrawn Rs 3,419 crore from Indian capital markets in September. FPIs have made this withdrawal amid increasing Corona virus cases in Europe and other countries, including India, and uncertainty before the presidential election in the US.

Foreign portfolio investors had earlier bought Indian capital markets for three consecutive months. According to depository data, foreign portfolio investors pulled out a net Rs 7,783 crore from the shares in September.

At the same time, he invested Rs 4,364 crore in the debt or bond market during this period. Thus the net withdrawal of FPIs stood at Rs 3,419 crore. According to experts, foreign portfolio investors are taking a very cautious approach ahead of the US presidential election and due to rising cases of coronavirus infection.

At the same time, before August, FPIs were pure buying for three consecutive months.

Foreign portfolio investors had invested Rs 46,532 crore in the Indian capital market in August. Earlier, the investment of FPIs stood at Rs 3,301 crore in July. Earlier in June, foreign portfolio investors invested Rs 24,053 crore in Indian capital markets.
