Spiderman – No Way Home Creates History At The Box Office

Spiderman – No Way Home creates history at the box office! 3rd Hollywood film to earn 200 crores in India.

Spiderman No Way Home has created a history of worldwide success among the films released during the pandemic.

At the same time, in India too, this Sony Pictures Entertainment film has made a splash and crossed the 200 crore mark in the third weekend.

Spiderman – No Way Home became the most successful of the films released in 2021 and has also overtaken Bollywood film Sooryavanshi in terms of earning at the domestic box office.

Spiderman – No Way Home has achieved this success at a time when many Bollywood films have been battling for the audience in theatres.

On the last Friday (December 31) of 2021, Spiderman – No Way Home entered the third week and the film collected a net collection of 3 crores.

On the first day of 2022, the film collected 4.92 crores, while on January 2, Spiderman collected a net collection of 4.75 crores.

Significantly, in the past weekend, due to the increasing cases of coronavirus across the country, many restrictions have been imposed.

Cinemas are closed in Delhi, while in many states including Maharashtra, they are operating with 50 percent capacity.

In such a situation, collecting 12.67 crores in the third weekend of the film is no less than an achievement.

After the third weekend, the net collection of the film in India for 18 days has been 202.34 crores, while the gross collection has reached 259.67 crores.

Spiderman – No Way Home has now become the third highest-grossing Hollywood film in India.

The first place is Avengers Endgame, which came in 2019 with a net collection of 365 crores at the Indian box office.

While the second place is Avengers Infinity War, which was released in 2018 and collected 222 crores net collection in India.

The film, which was released in India on December 16, had a net collection of 148 crores in the first week while collecting 41.60 crores more in the second week.

At the same time, if we talk about the collections of Spiderman – No Way Home worldwide, the film has done a business of $ 1.37 billion i.e. about Rs 10,200 crore in three weeks.

The film is yet to release in countries like China and Japan, where Spiderman movies have a huge fan following.

In the past weekend, the film has collected $52.7 million or about Rs 391 crore in the US.

Talking about Bollywood films released in 2021, Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi is the most successful film, which collected 195 crores at the domestic box office.

Spider-Man – No Way Home is the third film in the series following the 2015 deal between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Earlier, Spiderman – Homecoming and Spiderman – Far From Home have come. In these films, Tom Holland plays the role of Peter Parker i.e. Spiderman, while Zendaya plays the role of MJ.
