Spain beat Croatia in a thrilling match to reach the quarter-finals: EURO 2020.

In a very exciting Euro Cup match, Spain defeated Croatia to secure a place in the quarter-finals.

The match played on Monday could not be played till full-time. In extra time, Spain advanced to the next round with a 5–3 win over Croatia.

On Monday, the spectators got to see a very exciting match in the pre-quarterfinals of the Euro Cup. In this fiercely contested match, the score between the two teams was tied at 3-3 till full time.

Spain beat Croatia in a thrilling match: In extra time, Spain played an aggressive game against Croatia to take a two-goal lead which ensured their victory.

Spain defeated Croatia 5-3 in a thrilling eight-goal match to reach the quarter-finals of the Euro Cup.

The score was tied at 3-3 by the stipulated time, after which extra time was used to conclude the match where Spain won.

Spain scored two goals in extra time, making it difficult for Croatia to make a comeback.

The start of the match was good for Croatia. Spanish goalkeeper Pedri scored a suicide goal in the 20th minute to take Croatia 1–0 in the match.

However, his goal was due to his carelessness.

The ball was coming slowly to him and he thought that he would stop the ball with his right foot but, the ball touched his right foot and went slowly into the goal post.

For Spain, Pablo Sarabia (20th), Cesar Azliquita Pablo Sarabia (57th), Ferran Torres (76th), Alvaro Morata (100th).

Michal Oyarjabol (103rd) scored goals while Croatia’s Mislav Oske (85th min)  scored. and Maria Paulik (90+2nd minute) could only close the margin of defeat.

Belgium beat Portugal 1-0 to reach the quarter-finals.

Belgium surrounded superstar striker Cristiano Ronaldo at one end and took an aggressive approach at the other end to beat defending champions Portugal 1-0 to enter the quarter-finals of the Euro Cup.

In the match played, Ronaldo was not allowed to score, which cost Portugal. Ronaldo’s despair was evident as the final whistle blew. He threw down the captain’s armband.
