Six ministers of the BJP government reached court, demand for a ban on the news: Karnataka sexual harassment tape case.

There has been a political uproar following the resignation of Karnataka Water Resources Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi in the sexual harassment tape case.

Now six ministers of Karnataka have moved a court in Bangalore and demanded a stay on the news related to the case.

The six ministers of the government led by Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa, who moved the court, included Labor Minister Shivram Hebbar, Agriculture Minister BC Patil Cooperative Minister ST Somasekhar.

Health Education Minister K Sudhakar, besides Youth Empowerment and Sports Minister KC Narayan Gowda and Urban Development Minister, Includes Bharathi Basavaraj.

After hearing their joint petition, the Addition CT Civil Sessions Judge reserved their order. The court can pronounce its verdict today.

These six ministers are among the 17 MLAs who revolted against the Congress-JD (S) coalition government. Due to this, the Kumaraswamy government fell in July 2019 and the BJP formed the government.

The MLAs joined the BJP after being disqualified from their respective parties Congress and JDS.

Contested the by-election on a BJP ticket in December 2019 and was made a minister after winning the election. Zarkiholi, who resigned in the wake of sexual harassment tapes, is also one of those 16 MLAs.
