Shinde faction announces new executive of Shiv Sena but maintains respect for Uddhav Thackeray.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde held a meeting with his supporting MLAs on Monday, in which the old National Executive of Shiv Sena was dissolved and a new executive was declared.
The new executive elected Eknath Shinde as the ‘main leader’ of the Shiv Sena, but the special thing was that the recognition of Uddhav Thackeray as the party president was retained.
In the new executive committee of Shiv Sena, Deepak Kesarkar has been appointed as the spokesperson of the party, while Ramdas Kadam and Anandrao Adsul have been elected leaders
Yashwant Jadhav, Gulabrao Patil, Uday Samant, Sharad Ponkashe, Tanaji Sawant, Vijay Nahata, and Shivajirao Adhrao Patil have been elected as deputy leaders.
In the meeting, 14 MLAs who had extended their support to Uddhav Thackeray during the Eknath Shinde faction’s rebellion against the Shiv Sena leadership also adopted proposals for the appointment of working members of the party.
Let us tell you that on Monday itself, Uddhav Thackeray expelled former minister Ramdas Kadam and former Union minister Anandrao Adsul from Shiv Sena accusing them of being involved in anti-party activities.
He had appointed more than 100 new office bearers in Mumbai, Palghar, Yavatmal, Amravati, and other districts. After his decision, a meeting of the Shinde faction was held and the above decisions were taken.

Shinde faction spokesperson Deepak Kesarkar said, the rebel MLAs still have faith in Uddhav Thackeray, but the Shinde faction is the real Shiv Sena.
On this whole incident, MP Sanjay Raut said, ‘The group of people who broke with Shiv Sena formed a new national executive and dissolved our executive… you guys broke up and left.

12 Shiv Sena MPs to join Shinde camp?
Here the Shiv Sena faction led by Uddhav Thackeray may face another major setback.
If sources are to be believed, 12 out of 18 Shiv Sena MPs are in touch with Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and they can hold a press conference in Delhi today regarding their next possible move.
These Shiv Sena MPs are likely to join the Shinde camp. Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde himself is in Delhi today, where he will meet senior BJP leaders.
This will be Eknath Shinde’s second visit to Delhi after becoming the Chief Minister of Maharashtra
