Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati Died Today

Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati died, he was famous for his outspoken statements: Swami Swaroopanand Died.

Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati passed away on Sunday. Swami Swaroopananda Saraswati was the Shankaracharya of two peeths (Jyotirmath and Dwarka Peeth).

He worked his whole life for the protection of Sanatan Dharma. Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati was ill for a long time.

He breathed his last at Paramhansa Ganga Ashram in Jhoteshwar Peeth of Narsinghpur district. Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati was also known for his impeccable statement.

There is mourning in Sant Samaj due to his death.

99-year-old Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati fought a long battle for the construction of the Ram temple. He had been ill for a long time.  He was undergoing treatment in Bangalore.

Just a few days ago, Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati of Jyotimath Badrinath and Sharda Peeth Dwarka returned to Paramhansa Ganga Ashram at Jhoteshwar in Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh.

He breathed his last in this ashram at 3.30 pm. Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati took part in the freedom struggle and also went to jail.

Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati was born on 2 September 1924. Swamiji left his home at the age of nine. He received the title of Shankaracharya in 1980.

He (Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati Died) was known for his candid views on religion as well as political issues.

Many senior leaders including former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh have been his followers. He was the Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath and Dwarka Peeth.

According to the information shared by Brahma Vidyanand, a disciple of Shankaracharya, Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati Demise will be given samadhi at Paramhansa Ganga Ashram at 5 pm on Monday.

At the age of just 19, his (Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati) fame as a freedom fighter had spread across the country and he became famous as a revolutionary monk.

This was the period of 1942 when the country was fighting for independence from the British.

Swami was born in a Brahmin family in the Dighori village of Seoni district.

Swaroopanand Saraswati’s childhood name was Pothiram Upadhyay.

Shankaracharya Swami Sparupanand Saraswati had targeted the BJP and Vishwa Hindu Parishad in a scathing statement in the Ram Janmabhoomi dispute case.

He said that some organizations want to make their office in Ayodhya in the name of the temple, which is not acceptable to us at all.

He criticized the politics taking place on this issue. He received the title of Dandi Sanyasi in 1950 and Shankaracharya in 1981.
