Shah Said- Not Me, Nehru And Rajiv Sit On Tagore’s Chair

Shah said- not me, Nehru and Rajiv Gandhi were sitting on Tagore’s chair, by showing pictures in Parliament.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah responded with evidence in Parliament to the allegations of sitting on the chair of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore in Shanti Niketan.

The Home Minister showed the pictures in Parliament that he was not, but first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and then Rajiv Gandhi had sat on that chair.

He further said that if he talks in the House, he should see the facts before talking. Taking a dig at Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, he said that if we pick it up from social media and keep it here, it hurts the dignity of the House.

Amit Shah showed two photos in the house

Shah said tauntingly, but I do not see his fault in this, because of the history of his party, he made a mistake.

I am not sitting in that chair, I have two photos in which Jawaharlal Nehru is sitting on the chair where Tagore used to sit. The second photo is of Rajiv Gandhi, who is sitting on the couch of Tagore Sahib, drinking tea comfortably.

Shanti Niketan’s Vice Chancellor’s appeal to be tabled

Shah said that due to the background of the party, he may have misunderstandings, but I request that the record be clarified and I also want to put it on the floor of the House.

On the appeal of Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary so that this record will forever become a part of parliament.

Shah said that the record should be corrected and the letter and photograph of the vice-chancellor of Shanti Niketan be laid on the table.

Know what is the dispute

Let me tell you that Amit Shah had visited Bengal recently, at that time such things were said on social media that during the visit of Santiniketan, Amit Shah had sat on Tagore’s chair.

Not only the Congress, but the Trinamool Congress leaders were also making claims and accusations. Local leaders had started criticizing that it should be kept in mind that no one can become Tagore by sitting on Gurudev’s chair.

There was also talk of protests. Some people started talking about not knowing or understanding the culture of Bengal.

Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary also made similar allegations yesterday. In the Lok Sabha today, Shah categorically denied such allegations.
