Sensex Breaks 900 Points, Banking Shares In Red Mark

Sensex breaks 900 points, banking shares in the red mark, market open with heavy fall today. The stock market opened with a fall on Thursday, the fourth trading day of the week.

In early trade, the Bombay Stock Exchange’s major index Sensex fell by 744.85 points to open at 50,699.80 level. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty fell 218.85 points to open at 15,026.75 level.

On Wednesday, the stock market closed at the edge. The Sensex was up 1147.76 points at 51444.65 and the Nifty was up 326.50 points at 15245.60.

During the early trade, shares of Reliance, ONGC, IndusInd Bank, Bharti Airtel, and Adani Ports opened on the green mark. Hindalco, Tata Steel, HDFC, JSW Steel, and Tata Motors opened on the red mark.

Sensex breaks 900 points: All sectors started on the decline today in the sectoral index. These include IT, Realty, Metal, FMCG, Media, Banks, Pharma, Finance Services, Auto.

The Sensex opened with a gain of 453.06 points at 50,749.95 on the previous trading day. At the same time, the Nifty opened at 15,060.10, up 141.00 points.

On Wednesday, the exchange rate of the rupee in the interbank foreign exchange market gained 65 paise to close at 72.72 per dollar.

After opening at 73.26 against the US dollar, the rupee moved up to Rs 72.71 and down to 73.26 during trading.

Finally, the rupee gained 65 paise to close at 72.72 per dollar against its previous closing price. Brent crude, considered the global standard, rose 1.69 percent to $ 63.76 a barrel.

Gold Price Today: Gold futures decreased, the silver price also reduced, know what is left of the rate.

Futures prices of gold and silver fell on Thursday. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the price of gold delivered in April 2021 was down by Rs 143, or 0.32 percent, to Rs 44,805 per 10 grams.

In the previous session, the gold price of the April contract was Rs 44,948 per 10 grams.

At the same time, the price of delivery gold in June 2021 was down by Rs 118 i.e. 0.26 percent to Rs 44,994 per 10 grams. In the previous session, the gold price for the June contract was Rs 45,112 per 10 grams.
