Security of party leaders is paramount in Kashmir, Ravindra Raina spoke to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
State Bharatiya Janata Party raised the issue of ensuring the security of party leaders in Kashmir with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
BJP State President Ravindra Raina spoke to Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the telephone.
He informed Home Minister about the situation arising out of the death of party worker and Tral councilor Rakesh Pandita in the terrorist attack on Wednesday night in Tral, Kashmir.
The State President stressed that action should be taken to strengthen the security of the party workers. Raina told that Amit Shah has assured that Pandita’s killers will soon be punished for their actions.
Organization General Secretary Ashok Kaul is currently in Kashmir in the situation arising out of the killing of a party worker in Kashmir.
Kaul, who raised the issue of strengthening the security of BJP leaders in Kashmir last year also, says that there are some loopholes in the security of the workers.
It is our best effort to remove these shortcomings and ensure the safety of the workers. The body of Ashok Pandita was brought to Jammu on Thursday around 9 am.
His last rites were performed at Chinnor in Bantalab around 10 am. Many party leaders, workers, including state president Ravindra Raina, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, participated in this.
BJP’s national general secretary and in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir Tarun Chugh described the attacks on party workers in Kashmir as a conspiracy to disturb the development agenda of the PM.
Terrorists at the behest of Pakistan are trying to create obstacles in the path of democracy.
Such attacks also appear to be the desperation of the terrorists, the security forces have given a deep blow to terrorism. Terrorists cannot lower the morale of BJP workers working to strengthen democracy.
Ravindra Raina said that Rakesh Pandita’s sacrifice will not go in vain. The terrorists doing the bloodshed will be killed.
He said that when the whole world is fighting against Covid, then Pakistan is taking action to kill people in Kashmir.
Terrorists working on Pakistan and its behest are getting frustrated seeing the situation in Kashmir getting better.
Terrorists, who are unable to dare to come before the security forces, are now killing common people in the dark of night.
