According to the Wall Street Journal, Sullivan, a top aide of Joe Biden, visited Kyiv last week and promised Washington’s unwavering and unwavering support for Ukraine.

Sullivan has held private talks in recent months with aide Yuri Ushakov and Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Petrushev.

The talks reportedly took place at a time when the West was in awe of Putin’s rhetoric of nuclear use.

Recently, Russia repeatedly accused Kyiv of planning to use radioactive dirty bombs, prompting UN experts to inspect two sites where Russia made unsubstantiated claims.
