Second day of Bharat Bandh: Mixed effect in some states, protests continue on the streets.

On Tuesday, the second and last day of the nationwide bandh against the policies of the government, mixed-effects were seen in many states of the country.

This bandh has been called by the Central Trade Union against the policies of the government.

In many states including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, people of trade unions are protesting on the streets. Along with this, shops have also been kept closed.

Normal life is affected in some states.

Tuesday is the second day of the two-day nationwide bandh. In some parts of the country, the effect of this bandh is being seen on normal life.

Public transport and banking services are affected in some states. Unions are protesting in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.

Amarjeet Kaur, general secretary of the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), told the media, “Workers from most sectors have taken part in this bandh.”

We are getting good responses from rural areas. On Monday, more than 200 million people supported it, the number is expected to increase further on the second day.

The condition of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala.

According to the leading media agency, various trade unions in Tamil Nadu, including the DMK-led trade union Labor Progressive Federation (LPF), took part.

Union members took to the streets in Chennai. Shops are also closed in Thiruvananthapuram.

Center of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) and other Left organizations are protesting against the policies of the government in Kalaburagi, Karnataka.

The second day of Bharat Bandh: Union of Bank employees are also participating in this bandh.

On Monday, the first day of the bandh, there was chaos in some bank branches, and public transport services were also disrupted in states like West Bengal, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.

However, there was no impact on the supply of essential services such as healthcare, electricity, and fuel. The effect of the shutdown was also not visible in the offices and educational institutions.
