After Ludo, Sanya Malhotra will be seen with Abhimanyu Dasani in ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’, which will be released on this OTT on Diwali weekend.

Theaters are opening in Maharashtra from 22 October and after this announcement, many Hindi films have been announced to be released in theaters.

But some films are still choosing the path of OTT platforms. One such film is Meenakshi Sundareshwar, which is coming on Netflix on Diwali weekend.

The film stars Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani in lead roles. Meenakshi Sundareshwar is a love story of a couple from two different backgrounds.

The film is produced by Karan Johar, while Vivek Soni is the director. This is the directorial debut of Vivek.

The story of this romantic-comedy film is set in Madurai and tells the story of struggles in long-distance relationships. Sanya has previously appeared in Netflix films Paglat and Ludo.

This is his third film on the platform. Sanya played the role of his daughter in Vidya Balan’s Shakuntala Devi, which came on Amazon Prime Video.

Sanya started her career as a lead actor in Aamir Khan’s Dangal and over time has strengthened her identity as an actress in the industry.

This is the digital debut of Abhimanyu, son of Bollywood actress Bhagyashree, and the second film of his career. He made his debut as a lead actor in Vasan Bala’s Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota.

The film was released in 2018. Abhimanyu will next be seen in Sabir Khan-directed Nikamma, starring Shirley Setia and Shilpa Shetty in pivotal roles. The shooting of this film has been completed.

The first glimpse of Meenakshi Sundareswarar was released in November last year, shared on Instagram by director Vivek Soni and wrote – Jodi has formed and you are all invited to watch the drama.
