Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge expected price

Tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) revealed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be priced around the Galaxy S25+ model, which launched in January alongside the standard and top-of-the-line Ultra models. If the tipster’s claim is correct, the Galaxy S25 Edge could be priced around $999 (roughly Rs. 87,150).

The tipster also revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a 6.65-inch display, which is almost identical to the 6.7-inch display of the Galaxy S25+ model. However, the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge variant will have narrow bezels like the Galaxy S25 Ultra model, Ice Universe says.

The post also gives information about the thickness and weight of the handset. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be 5.84mm thick, which is 1.46mm less than the Galaxy S25+ model.

Similarly, the tipster says that the Galaxy S25 Edge will weigh 162 grams, which is less than the Plus variant (195 grams). However, it is worth noting that the upcoming Edge model will have a smaller battery than the Galaxy S25+. Also, it is expected to have two rear cameras instead of the triple camera setup of the Plus variant.

Samsung MX’s UK product and marketing VP Annika Bizon recently told TechRadar that the slimness of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will not affect the durability of the phone. The executive did not say how the company will ensure the durability of the device, but according to recent reports, it will use ceramic material instead of glass on the rear panel.
