Russian Army Destroyed All The Bridges In Severodonetsk

Russian army destroyed all the bridges in the city of Severodonetsk and occupied 70 percent of the area: Russia Ukraine War.

The war between Russia and Ukraine continues. The Ukrainian city of Severodonetsk has been completely ruined by the invasion of the Russian army.

A top official said every bridge leading to the main Ukrainian city of Severodnetsk had been destroyed.

In a social media post on Monday, Luhansk Governor Serhiy Haidai said that all three bridges in Severodonetsk had been destroyed and the remaining residents in the city were living in “extremely difficult conditions”, the BBC reported.

Russian army destroyed all the bridges: The focus of the Russian army on the capture of the eastern part of Ukraine.

For several weeks, Severodnetsk has seen fierce fighting as Russia now focuses on capturing the entire eastern part of Ukraine.

Taking Severodonetsk and the nearby city of Lysychansk would give Moscow control of the entire Luhansk region, much of which is already controlled by Russian-backed separatists.

Haidai further said that it is now impossible to deliver supplies and evacuate civilians as the city has been cut off from other areas.

Russia occupied 70 percent of Severodonetsk.

The BBC cited reports that 70 percent of Severodonetsk is now under Russian control.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukrainian troops in the city were fighting Russian forces “literally for every meter”.

In addition, on Monday, a military representative of the pro-Russian self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, Eduard Basurin, told reporters that the remaining Ukrainian troops in Severodnetsk should surrender or prepare to die.
