As part of its centenary year celebrations, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is set to launch a nationwide door-to-door campaign and organize over 100,000 Hindu conferences across India. The announcement was made by Sunil Ambekar, the All-India Publicity Chief of the RSS, during a press conference ahead of the three-day All-India Executive Board meeting, scheduled from October 30 to November 1.

Ambekar stated that 407 representatives, including the Sarsanghchalak (Chief), Sarkaryavah (General Secretary), and Sahakaryavah (Joint General Secretaries), will participate in the national meeting. The event will focus on reflecting upon India’s current social landscape while chalking out the Sangh’s future roadmap.

As the RSS approaches its 100th anniversary, the organization aims to strengthen social harmony, promote cultural awareness, and reconnect with families through a large-scale home contact campaign. The initiative, expected to run for 25 to 40 days, will involve extensive public outreach, including house visits, community discussions, and literature distribution focused on Sanatan Dharma, environmental responsibility, and civic awareness.
Ambekar revealed that the Hindu conferences will be held at Basti-Mandal levels, ensuring maximum grassroots participation. Each event will serve as a platform for discussion on topics related to family values, environmental consciousness, and national unity.
Celebrating Cultural and Historical Milestones
In addition to these initiatives, the RSS meeting will commemorate several significant anniversaries. Special literature and events will honor the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur, who sacrificed his life for the protection of Dharma, and the 150th birth anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Lord Birsa Munda on November 15.
“These programs are designed to bring communities together while reminding every citizen of India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage,” Ambekar noted.

Another key focus of the centenary year campaign will be youth involvement. The Sangh plans to organize interactive events, dialogues, and workshops aimed at connecting the younger generation with the values of self-reliance, service, and national pride.
Responding to questions about the concept of “homecoming,” Ambekar emphasized the inclusive philosophy of the RSS. “Anyone who regards this land as their mother is a Hindu,” he said. “This belief is not newly formed but has been passed down by our ancestors. Every individual who stands to protect Sanatan Dharma, Indian culture, and the motherland embodies this sentiment.”
The Panch Parivartan Message
A core theme of the campaign, known as Panch Parivartan (Five Transformations), will promote:

- Social harmony

- Positive expression and dialogue
- Sense of civic duty

The RSS leadership has also scheduled regional dialogues with the Sarsanghchalak in major cities:
