Retired IAS officer AK Sharma joins BJP close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Retired IAS officer Arvind Kumar Sharma, who was eager to play political innings after administrative service, joined BJP on Thursday.
On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, AK Sharma joined BJP in the presence of Uttar Pradesh deputy CM Dr. Dinesh Sharma and BJP state vice-president Dayashankar Singh along with BJP state president Swatantradev Singh at BJP’s state headquarters in Lucknow. Sharma thanked Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in his absence and said that he belongs to a backward village in Mau district.
He has come into politics to serve nationalism and party. They will accept the responsibility assigned to the party. Instead of answering other questions, Sharma left with folded hands. Arvind Sharma ji is counted among the selected officers of the Government of India. Keeping a low profile, the PMO and then MSME are in the news for the best work.

1998 Gujarat cadre IAS officer Arvind Kumar Sharma is considered very close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Arvind Kumar Sharma, who took voluntary retirement even after remaining a two-year job, is considered a hard-working officer with a broad outlook. He has a long experience of working with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gujarat as well as in the PM Office, Delhi.
He hails from a very backward area in Mau district of Uttar Pradesh. It is believed that the BJP is going to make Arvind Kumar Sharma a member of the Legislative Council from Uttar Pradesh. Out of the 12 seats in the Legislative Council, BJP’s ten occupations are considered absolutely fixed. The BJP will announce the names of its candidates on 16 January.
The BJP and Trinamool are suddenly eyeing the Left Front and Congress, who are fighting to save their existence in the politics of Bengal. Suvendu Adhikari, who recently joined the BJP, leaving the Trinamool Congress, appealed to the Left-Congress workers and supporters to go to his party’s procession-rally but must vote for the BJP on polling day.
The very next day, the Trinamool appealed to the Left Front and the Congress to support Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the fight against the communal politics of the BJP. Elections are to be held in April-May on 294 assembly seats in the state.
