The Cyber ​​Crime Police of the Crime Research Department (CID), which is investigating this case, has arrested two youths on charges of cybercrime from Palajori in Deoghar.

Those accused include Shamshad Noorani, resident of Asna Lakhanpur in the Palajori police station area, and Kadam Rasool alias Chotka, resident of Lakhanpur.

An FIR has also been registered against them in the Palajori police station on September 4, 2015, under sections related to cybercrime.

Cyber ​​SP Karthik S. And DSP Neha of Cyber ​​Police Station gave information about the whole matter by holding a press conference at CID Headquarters located at Rajrani Kothi, Doranda on Friday.

Officials said that both the arrested criminals have studied up to class 10th and 8th. They are members of a cybercrime gang.

There are many big criminals in their gang, about whom information is being collected and their arrest will also be done soon.

It will be clear from his arrest that how many people have been victimized by this gang so far.

Shopping for shirt pants online, contacted on helpline number.

The complainant Sushil Oraon had lodged an FIR in the Cyber ​​Crime Police Station of the CID on February 1, 2021.

He told the police that he had ordered shirt pants from a marketing company called Shop T and paid for them online.

When he saw the shirt-pants, he did not like them. After this, he saw a helpline number on the website of the online marketing company.

When Sushil contacted the helpline number, the cybercriminal picked up the call. He sent them a Time Password (OTP) in the name of helping and returning the money.

By doing this, the cybercriminal downloaded Any Desk and by breaking into the bank account, withdrew two lakh three thousand 617 rupees from his account.

Accused arrested on the basis of mobile surveillance.

On the basis of conversation on the helpline number, the police of the cyber police station extracted the mobile number of the criminal and through surveillance got information about the said criminal being in Palajori of Deoghar.

After this, the police of the cyber police station reached Deoghar on Wednesday and from there arrested both the accused and brought them to Ranchi.
