The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) investigating the drugs case has issued summons to actresses Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor for questioning. In this episode, NCB is questioning fashion designer Simone Khambhat.
Today RakulPreet Singh was also called for questioning. However, Rakulpreet’s team says that they have not received any summons. At the same time, Narcotics Control Bureau has said that summons was issued to RakulPreet Singh yesterday. We tried to contact him through several means, but have not received any response yet.
Please tell that Deepika Padukone on 25 and Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor on 26 September will be questioned in the NCB office. Deepika is currently in Goa and she is expected to return to Mumbai today. The names of these people have been revealed in the interrogation of some 19 people arrested in the Bollywood drug connection case and in some WhatsApp chats.
Secret of ‘D’ in WhatsApp chat
Jaya Saha, who was the talent manager of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has given some important information in the inquiry. Earlier, Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash was summoned for questioning, but due to ill health she asked for more time.
Karishma is exempted from appearing on Friday. Sources in NCB said that Karisma’s WhatsApp chat revealed a conversation about drugs with a ‘D’. NCB wants to know who is this person named ‘D’.
Long questioning from Madhu Mantena
On Wednesday, NCB interrogated filmmaker Madhu Mantena for a long time. Mantena has also been the co-creator of the 2016 ‘Udta Punjab’, a drug addict. Mantena’s name also surfaced two days ago during the interrogation of Jaya Saha.
The case started with the investigation into Sushant Singh’s death under suspicious circumstances, now the case is completely based on the investigation of a drugs racket. The NCB has so far arrested 19 people in this case, after a long interrogation, the series continues to grow.
Information about the involvement of these stars in the drug racket was found during the investigation into the suspicious death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation revealed a WhatsApp chat of Sushant’s female friend Riya Chakraborty and her talent manager Jaya Saha.
From this chat, one episode of Bollywood is being linked. So far 19 people have been arrested, including Riya Chakraborty, her brother Shouvik Chakraborty, Sushant’s former staff Dipesh Sawant and Samuel Miranda.
These include retail traffickers of narcotics in Bollywood. Many of Bollywood’s most famous names have appeared in these inquiries. NCB wants to get into the bottom of Bollywood’s drug connection by questioning all of them.
