Rajnath Singh Attended The Commander’s Conference Of Navy

Rajnath Singh attended the Commander’s Conference of the Indian Navy, the forum prepared for discussion on maritime matters.

The top commanders of the Navy are going to hold their biennial meeting today to discuss important maritime matters, future plans at a military-strategic level.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, and Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh will address the Navy Commanders along with the Chiefs of Army and Air Force.

Rajnath Singh has reached Sena Bhawan to attend the second edition of the conference.

During this, the CDS and the Chiefs of the Army and Air Force will also interact with the naval commanders to facilitate the action of the three services and promote tri-services synergy.

The five-day Naval Commanders’ Conference serves as a forum for naval commanders to discuss important maritime matters at the military-strategic level.

Rajnath Singh attended the Commander’s Conference: It is an institutional forum for deliberation on very important issues that will shape the future course of the Indian Navy.

In line with India’s growing maritime interests, the force has seen significant growth in its operational functions over the years.

Indian Navy ships on mission-based deployment in the Indian Ocean region are ready to respond quickly to any developing situation.

The Navy has focused on building a cohesive force and has not let its vital functions fail, despite the COVID- 19 pandemic.

Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh said that the strategic partnership between the navies of India and America has increased.

Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh on Sunday said that the strategic partnership and engagement between the navies of India and the US has grown in the last few years.

He was commenting on the five-day visit of US Navy Chief Admiral Michael Gilday. He was on a visit to India from 11 to 15 October.

Admiral Karambir Singh tweeted: “Honoured and privileged to host the US Navy Chief. The strategic partnership and engagement between our navies have grown over the years.

I am sure that our dialogue will lead to focused results and take our relationship to greater heights.

On Friday, Admiral Gilday had tweeted, “Don’t be misunderstood, the Indian Navy is one of our closest strategic partners and the basis of the strength of our relationship is an open and open Indo-Pacific region.”
