Punjab Police Arrests Three Babbar Khalsa Terrorists: Punjab Police has arrested three Babbar Khalsa terrorists from Bihar while they were attempting to flee to Nepal. Mobile phones, Nepalese currency, and links to Harvinder Rinda’s network were uncovered.

Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav said that the arrested people have been identified as Karandeep Yadav (21), Mukesh Kumar (29) and Sajan Singh (24). All of them are residents of Khandwala Chheharta in Amritsar.

Three phones and Nepalese currency recovered

Punjab DGP said that three mobile phones (Punjab BKI Terrorist Arrested) and Nepalese currency notes have been seized from them. This development has come to light after the investigation and continuous investigation of the back-and-forth link in the arrest of Joban Singh and Gurbaksh Singh. 290 grams of heroin have been recovered from these two.

Yadav said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the arrested accused were working on the instructions of Pakistan-based BKI kingpin Harvinder Rinda. The DGP said that the arrested people were residents of Khandwala and Chheharta areas of Amritsar.

DGP Gaurav Yadav said that they were caught from Madhepur in Bihar at that time. These accused were planning to flee to Nepal from here. He said that all three are being brought back to Punjab for further interrogation. Investigation has revealed that Karandeep Yadav had delivered grenades and weapons recovered from Tarn Taran in January this year.

The Director General of Police said that the Tarn Taran police had arrested four operatives – Robinjit Singh, Harpreet Singh, Navjot Singh and Jagdeep Singh and recovered two grenades and a pistol from their possession. Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said the operation was launched based on intelligence and the accused were arrested from Bihar.
