Protesters were selling goods stolen from President’s residence in Sri Lanka, police arrested 3 people.

Sri Lankan police arrested three people who were trying to sell 40 gold-plated brass sacks that were stolen from President’s residence.

According to the local media agency, people protesting against the unprecedented economic crisis entered President’s Secretariat on July 9.

Three of these people have been arrested with 40 gold-plated brass sockets. These sockets are used to hang the curtains of the windows.

According to preliminary investigation, 1,000 artifacts and antiquities have been stolen from Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Prime Minister’s official residence.

Schools across the country were opened on Monday amid normalizing circumstances.

The Private Bus Owners Association said that despite the shortage of fuel, a sufficient number of buses have been launched for school children.

A lower court has banned the travel of six protesters leading anti-government protests abroad.

According to the news agency, the lawyer of the International Truth and Justice Project (ITJP), an organization working for rights, has filed a complaint with the Attorney General of Singapore.

The organization demanded the arrest of former Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and a war crime trial against him.

The organization has said that Gotabaya was the Defense Minister of Sri Lanka in 2009. Then the Geneva Convention was violated during the Civil War.

After 107 days, the work started in the President’s Secretariat of Sri Lanka.

The President’s Secretariat started functioning on Monday after 107 days. Since April 9, people protesting outside the secretariat had blocked the entrance.

Police and security forces used force on Friday to free the President’s Secretariat and the protest site from the protesters.

Fuel delivery through QR code will be delayed.

The Information and Communication Technology Agency said that fuel delivery for vehicles through the QR code system would be delayed.

The Ministry of Power had announced that fuel will be distributed for vehicles from Monday through QR codes.
