According to a recent report by a news agency, the Indian Railways has lost Rs 1,670 crore in freight revenue alone due to farmers’ agitation in Punjab.

It should be known that this agitation of farmers has been 52 days. As of 16 November, 1,986 passenger trains and 3,090 freight trains have been canceled due to this movement.

At the same time, the railways have refused to accept the proposal of the protesting farmers to start only goods trains. This has deepened the crisis.

Ruldu Singh further said that representatives of about 30 farmers’ organizations and lakhs of farmers are ready to go to Delhi by tractor to protest against agricultural laws on 26 and 27 November.

After this, a three-day visit to Punjab is proposed to review the party’s preparations in view of the 2022 assembly elections.
