Preparations to bring the dreaded terrorist Nijjar to India, Punjab Police wrote a letter to the Government of Canada.
The Punjab Police has started an exercise to bring Canada-based Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) chief Hardeep Singh Nijjar, wanted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), to India.
The NIA has also announced a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh on Nijjar. Nijjar is accused of killing a Hindu priest in Punjab’s Jalandhar last year.
According to the information, Punjab Police has written a letter to the Canadian government to bring Nijjar to India, demanding his arrest and extradition.

The NIA has also filed a charge sheet in the court against terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a resident of Bharsinghpur in the Phillaur area of Jalandhar, along with his three other accomplices in connection with the attack on Pujari.
Nijjar is currently living in Canada and heads the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF). Nijjar is also accused of promoting the separatist and violent agenda of Sikhs in India.
