In the Karnataka obscene video case, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has intensified the search abroad for absconding JDS MP and Hassan candidate Prajwal Revanna.
Meanwhile, three more victims have contacted the SIT. Sources said that after the arrest of HD Revanna on Saturday, the victims have approached the SIT. Officials may record their statements soon.
The special court has sent Revanna to SIT custody till May 8. There are rumors that Prajwal Revanna may soon surrender before the authorities after the arrest of his father and JDS MLA HD Revanna.
Sources said a team of the SIT has already reached a foreign hideout based on information gathered about Prajwal’s activities.
This team will arrest them in coordination with local agencies and the CBI. The tracked location was Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Prajwal is constantly changing his location.
SIT sources say that they also have information that Prajwal will return only after the Lok Sabha elections. Misleading information is being spread about them.

The SIT is likely to file another FIR based on the statement of the kidnapped elderly woman who was allegedly sexually assaulted by Prajwal.

Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Assembly and BJP leader R Ashok said that even if Prajwal Revanna wins the election from Hassan’s seat, action will be taken against him.
He also justified the arrest of HD Revanna in the kidnapping case of the rape victim.
R Ashok also said that the decision on whether to continue the alliance with JDS will be taken by the party’s central leadership after the Lok Sabha elections.
On the other hand, HD Revanna has described his arrest as the result of a political conspiracy.
“Based on the complaint filed on May 2, there is no evidence of my involvement in the case. This is a big political conspiracy,” Revanna told reporters outside Boring and Lady Curzon Hospital.
