Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, on a two-day visit today.

During this, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of rail and road infrastructure projects worth over Rs 28,000 crore in Karnataka.

PM Modi has dedicated India’s first air-conditioned railway station in Bengaluru to the public. During this, he has launched 100 percent electrification of the Konkan Railway line and 150 technology hubs.

After laying the foundation stone of several rail and road infrastructure projects in Bengaluru, the Prime Minister will fly to Mysore on Monday to attend a public function at the Maharaja’s College Ground.

PM Modi inaugurated rail and road projects: PM Modi is scheduled to inaugurate several programs tomorrow like attending the 8th International Yoga Day celebrations in Mysore.

During his visit to Bengaluru, PM Modi inaugurated the Center for Brain Research at the Indian Institute of Science.

While in the city, he also unveiled a statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar at the Dr. BR Ambedkar School of Economics (BASE) in Bengaluru. He also inaugurated a new campus of the University.

Congress leader Siddaramaiah targeted the Center regarding the BASE, saying – it was inaugurated in 2017 only.

Former Karnataka Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Monday recalled that former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh had inaugurated the flagship project Babasaheb Dr. B R Ambedkar School of Economics (BASE) in 2017.

Let us tell you, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the BASE, Bangalore today, where he will inaugurate the new campus of the university and unveil the statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar.

In a veiled attack on the Centre, the Congress leader tried to highlight that the central government only inaugurates major projects of the Congress party.

Siddaramaiah said- BASE gives us a lot of happiness.

In a series of tweets on Monday, Siddaramaiah wrote, “Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh inaugurated our flagship project Babasaheb Dr. BR Ambedkar School of Economics in 2017.

It gives us great pleasure to recall the satisfying memory of dedicating a world-class university to the people of Karnataka.’
