PM inaugurated India Energy Forum by CERAWEEK, talks with CEO of the world’s largest oil and gas companies. PM inaugurated the India Energy Forum Seravić on Monday.

It was inaugurated by the Prime Minister through video conferencing at a program organized by NITI Aayog and the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

After this, the Prime Minister also held talks with the CEOs of the world’s major oil and gas companies. In this program, the Prime Minister said that India’s energy future is brilliant and secure.

The Prime Minister said, “This year has been full of challenges for the energy sector, energy demand has fallen by a third, investment decisions have also been affected.

Energy demand may also be affected for the next few years, but India Has almost doubled energy consumption in the long term. ‘

The Prime Minister further said, ‘100% electrification has taken place in India and consumption of LPG has also increased. More energy is needed to make people’s lives better.

Our energy sector is growth-oriented as well as industry-friendly. India is also working rapidly towards a renewable sources of energy. 360 million LED bulbs have been distributed in the last three years and the cost of LED bulbs has also come down by 10 times.

The PM further said, ‘India is the most attractive market for clean energy investment. India works with the interests of the world in mind and achieves its goal.

India is included in countries with lower carbon emissions than the whole world. We want to build One Nation One Gas Grid. For a long time, the world has seen crude oil prices rising.

Apart from Prime Minister Modi, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, US Energy Minister Dan Broillet, OPEC Secretary-General Mohammed Barkindo and Energy Minister Abdul Aziz bin Salman of Saudi Arabia also addressed the program.

GST Network (GSTN) said on Monday that it has started a system of filing quarterly returns through SMS for taxpayers adopting a lump sum tax scheme (composition scheme).

A total of 17.11 lakh taxpayers are registered under the lump sum scheme. Of this, about 20 percent or 3.5 lakh taxpayers are those who file zero returns.
