The Philippines’ defense plan also includes the protection of its Exclusive Economic Zone. This Exclusive Economic Zone extends up to 200 nautical miles. Galindo said it is extremely important that the army demonstrates its strength to this extent by coordinating with the Philippine Navy and the Philippine Air Force.
