Ingredients for making Cauliflower Peas Masala

  1. Cauliflower: 400 grams (cut into small florets).
  2. Green peas: 1 cup (fresh or frozen).
  3. Onion: 1 large (finely chopped).
  4. Tomatoes: 2 (finely chopped).
  5. Ginger: 1-inch piece (grated).
  6. Green chilies: 2 (finely chopped).
  7. Garlic: 4-5 cloves (finely chopped).
  8. Cumin seeds: 1/2 teaspoon.
  9. Asafoetida: 1 pinch.
  10. Turmeric powder: 1/4 teaspoon.
  11. Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon.
  12. Red chili powder: 1/2 teaspoon (to taste).
  13. Garam masala: 1/4 teaspoon.
  14. Coriander leaves: 2-3 tablespoons (finely chopped).
  15. Oil: 2-3 tablespoons.
  16. Salt: to taste.

Delicious Gobhi Matar Masala Recipe: Method of making Cauliflower Peas Masala

  1. First of all, wash the cauliflower and cut it into small florets. Wash the green peas. Finely chop onion, tomato, ginger, green chili and garlic.
  2. Now add chopped tomato, ginger, green chili, and garlic in a mixer and grind it. Make a smooth paste.
  3. After this, heat the oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle. Then add asafoetida. Add chopped onion and fry till it turns golden.
  4. At the point when the onion becomes brilliant, add the masala glue and sear well. Blend in the red stew powder, coriander powder, and turmeric powder
  5. Now add cauliflower and green peas and mix well. Fry for 2-3 minutes.
  6. After that, add 1 cup of water and salt to taste. Cover the pan and cook on a medium flame for 10-12 minutes or until the vegetables become soft.
  7. Then just turn off the gas add garam masala and coriander leaves and mix. Serve with hot roti, paratha, or rice.
