PFI Was Also Involved In The Jihadist Activities Of IS In Syria

PFI was also involved in the jihadist activities of IS in Syria, confirmation of the death of two members.

Many members of the Popular Front of India (PFI), which is spreading communal hatred in India, have also joined the jihadi activities of the dreaded terrorist organization Islamic State (IS).

Two members of the PFI who were involved in terrorist activities of IS in Syria have also been killed.

The PFI used to send its members to Syria through many countries so that they would not come in the eyes of the security agencies.

The central government has imposed a five-year ban on the PFI and several of its organizations for having links with IS and spreading communal hatred in the country.

The documents found in NIA’s nationwide raid and action against PFI.

PFI leaders Abdul Manaf alias Abu Fatimand and Mohammad Sameer alias Abu Safwan were killed while fighting on behalf of ISIS in Syria.

In 2017, the Kerala Police received information about some Muslim youths from the state going to Syria, most of whom were found to be members of the PFI.

A jihadist named Hamza, who returned from the Gulf countries, used to prepare youth to join IS. Mohammad Sameer had planned to send youth from Kerala to Syria via other countries.

Samir, along with Hamza, used to send youths first to Saudi Arabia, then to Malaysia, and then to Turkey.

These youths used to enter Syria from Turkey. Many PFI members were arrested in other countries and were later deported back to India.

11 PFI members are in judicial custody till 20.

A special NIA court in Kerala on Friday sent 11 members of the PFI to judicial custody till October 20.

The NIA arrested them last week under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). After the end of their custody, the NIA produced them in court.

The NIA along with the state police also sealed the offices of PFI in several districts of Kerala including Kozhikode.

Raids on suspicion of connection with PFI.

The NIA raided a community hall in Mittur in Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district on suspicion of being a PFI twin. Here the information about training being given to the members of PFI was received.

The NIA has arrested Ayub Agnadi, a trustee of the trust that runs the community hall, and is looking for another trustee, Masood Agnadi.

BJP targets the Kerala government.

The BJP has targeted the Kerala government for its shake-up in action against PFI after the ban was imposed.

State BJP President K. Sudarshan told reporters in Kozhikode that the state government was adopting a policy of procrastination in taking action against the organization.
