The recent attacks in Balochistan ahead of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to China have forced the country’s law enforcement agencies to be on high alert.

Alert has been issued to these agencies amid the possibility of further attack.

Pakistan’s law enforcement and security agencies have been directed to be on high alert on Thursday in the wake of two separate terror attacks in Balochistan, The News International reported.

Following the attacks, intelligence and security agencies across the country have been asked to prepare at the highest level.

On Thursday, Baloch insurgents again targeted two army bases in Pakistan’s restive Balochistan province. Seven Pakistani soldiers were killed in this. While the army claimed to have killed 13 rebels.

The Balochistan Liberation Front (BFF) has claimed responsibility for the attacks on military bases in the Panjgur and Naushki districts after the killing of Pakistani soldiers.

The banned group claims that its suicide bombers blew explosives-laden vehicles at the entry gates of military bases in Balochistan, killing more than 50 soldiers.

The Chinese are always the target of Baloch and this attack is also showing the same thing before Imran Khan’s visit to China.

China has been raising its security concerns with Pakistan in the past as well. Last year, 10 Chinese workers were killed and 26 injured in an attack in northern Pakistan.
