Pakistani Women Lodged In Afghan Jails Have Links With ISIS

Pakistani women lodged in Afghan jails with their children have links with dreaded terrorist organizations like IS.

Contrary to Pakistan’s claim that its people have no links with terror groups operating in Afghanistan, around 24 Pakistani women are lodged in jails there along with their children.

The women have been detained because of their links with the Islamic State’s alleged local organization IS-Khorasan. This information has come out from an internal document of the Government of Pakistan.

According to South Asia Press, Pakistan’s embassy in Afghanistan has written to the country’s foreign ministry asking it to see how Pakistani women have been detained in different parts of Afghanistan for terrorist activities.

Last month, Pakistani officials visited the Pul-e-Charkhi prison in Kabul. Pakistani women are lodged with their children in this jail.

“All these women and their children are Daesh-affiliated prisoners,” the South Asia Press report said. The statement also gives information about their names and their address in Pakistan.

This report refutes the claim of the Government of Pakistan.

The Pakistan government claims that Islamic State is not active in the country and the government does not allow people to cross the border to Afghanistan to join terror groups.
