Opposition Adopting ‘Attack & Escape’ Strategy: BJYM
Opposition adopting ‘attack and escape’ strategy to disrupt Parliament: Tejashwi Surya.
The BJYM on Wednesday said that the opposition is adopting a strategy of “attack and run away” as baseless allegations of spying on prominent people using Israel’s Pegasus spyware.
Its sole purpose is to disrupt the proceedings of Parliament.
BJP MP and National President of BJYM Tejashwi Surya lashed out at the opposition, terming the Pegasus spying episode as baseless and questioned the timing of its ‘revelation’.
Opposition adopting ‘attack and escape’ strategy: “Opposition has always been adopting attack and run strategy to disrupt the proceedings of Parliament,” he said.
This time he has alleged that the government has allegedly spied on key people using Pegasus software.
He said that this alleged investigation has been done three years after the alleged espionage of people.
Surya said, “His own confession suggests that the data on the phone numbers do not make it clear whether they were affected by Pegasus or were hacked.”
Demand for removal of Kerala minister for interference in molestation case
Congress MP Benny Behanan has written to Kerala Governor Arif Muhammad Khan, demanding the removal of state Forest Minister AK Sasidharan.
The minister is accused of interfering in a sexual harassment complaint against the Nationalist Congress Party leader.
The Congress MP has also asked Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to remove Sasidharan. Sasidharan is accused of pressurizing the family of the molestation victim in Kollam district.
The MP said, “The minister himself has become a threat to the safety of women in the state, so the chief minister should remove AK Sasidharan.”
The minister has rubbished the allegations saying that he had called the father of the complainant. He was not aware of the harassment case.
