Netflix is being free in India for two days, know when and how you will be able to take advantage of it. Paid OTT platform will be a free trial of its streaming service in India for two days by Netflix.
This will be a promotion offer, under which an attempt will be made to bring users in limited numbers on the streaming platform. This free trial will be made available on Android devices through the Netflix app. This free trial will be known as StreamFest.
Free trial will start from December 4
A code will be issued for free trial from Netflix. Netflix’s free trial can begin in India from December 4.
During Netflix’s third-quarter results, the company’s COO Greg Peters announced that the company was planning to host a free trial on the weekend, which would be a promotional trial. According to Peters, this trial will start from the Indian market.
Do not have to enter debit or credit card information
According to the leaked report, users will not have to set up payment mode to enjoy this free trial of Netflix. Users will be able to enjoy this service by signing-up on the simple SteamFest trial.
Explain that till now, for a month of free Netflix trial, users had to enter debit or credit card information as payment.
However, its disadvantage was that after one month if you did not sign-out the Netflix account, then the payment would be deducted from the account as payment for the next month. However, this will not happen in the promotional offer of Netflix.
What will be needed
Users will have to sign up for the free trial of Netflix. For this, users have to enter their email ID and phone number. This data will only be used for verification and sending reminder messages.
The company has clarified that this will be a two-day absolutely free trial. Also, this trial will not be for all the people of India. The company will be testing it on a limited group.
