Naxalite Kishore alias Masa Kabasi, who has been a headache for the Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Andhra Pradesh police for nearly ten years, has been killed by the police in an encounter.
He had a reward of eight lakh rupees. According to IG (Operation) Amitabh Thakur and Malkangiri SP Rishikesh Khilari.
He was killed in an encounter on Thursday in the Totaguda forest in the North Swabhiman region of Malkangiri district of Odisha.
During this period, a Naxalite Lacan alias Laxman Galari has also been injured. He is detained after first aid. Security forces have also recovered weapons etc. from the spot.

Kishore alias Masa was a resident of Chandrametta village in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. He joined the CPI Maoist in 2007. He had dozens of cases of murder and assault.

At the same time, Lakan alias Laxman Galari is a resident of Jodamb police station area of Malkangiri district.

Naxalite leader Abhijeet Yadav alias Mahavir Yadav and his wife Geeta Devi have been booked by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday for money laundering.
