Nawab Malik and Anil Deshmukh approached the Supreme Court and sought permission to appear in the floor test. The battle for power in Maharashtra has now reached the Supreme Court.

Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has called a special session of the Legislative Assembly on June 30. Governor has asked to conduct a floor test tomorrow.

However, this matter has now reached the Supreme Court. An application has been filed in the Supreme Court against the floor test.

Shiv Sena has challenged the Governor’s order in the Supreme Court. On the other hand, the Supreme Court has accepted the petition of Shiv Sena.

Now the hearing regarding the floor test will be held at 5 pm. Meanwhile, Maharashtra government ministers Nawab Malik and Anil Deshmukh have also approached the Supreme Court.

Both the leaders have sought permission from the Supreme Court to attend the floor test to be held tomorrow. Nawab and Anil want to vote in the floor test.

MLC could not cast votes in elections.

Earlier, NCP leaders had sought permission to cast their votes in the MLC elections.

However, the highest court of the country did not give relief to Nawab and Anil even at that time. The Bombay High Court had also dismissed the petition of these two leaders.

Anil and Nawab are in judicial custody.

Nawab Malik and Anil Deshmukh are in judicial custody. Both of them were arrested by the ED.

Both the leaders had also sought permission to vote in the Rajya Sabha elections held on June 10, but it was rejected.

Actually, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has called a special session of the Legislative Assembly on June 30. In this special session floor test will be held between 11 am to 5 pm.

The Maha Vikas Aghadi government will have to prove its majority during this period.

Supreme Court agreed to hear.

At the same time, Shiv Sena has moved the Supreme Court against the decision of the Governor. Shiv Sena Chief Whip Sunil Prabhu has filed a petition in the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court has also agreed to hear the petition. A hearing in this matter will take place at 5 pm today. Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi will represent the government on behalf of Shiv Sena.
