In fact, the 16-year-old record of such low rainfall in September is broken. According to the Meteorological Department, Safdarjung station received only 21 mm of rain during the month, compared to only 3 mm in 2004. Due to no rain in September, people had to face humidity and heat.

At the same time, Kuldeep Srivastava, Director, Regional Meteorological Department, Delhi, Director of Regional Meteorological Department of Delhi, says that the monsoon trough did not pass through Delhi-NCR this time.

This time, the monsoon trough remained concentrated in northwest Rajasthan or around Gujarat. This is the reason that Gujarat received heavy rainfall, but Delhi-NCR did not receive that kind of rain.

Meanwhile, according to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear on Wednesday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 37 and 22 degrees Celsius respectively. It is estimated that the dry season will continue in October as in September.

Meanwhile, it is also reported that by October 15, the northwest winds will also run and after that, the wind speed will also stop. In such a situation, after 5 October, the morning and evening temperatures will fall and then people will be able to enjoy the pink season.
