Moeen Ali Returns To The Playing XI Of CSK
Moeen Ali returns to the playing XI Of CSK: IPL 2022: These players will be responsible for making Chennai win.
Chennai had lost to last year’s runners-up team in the opening match of the Indian Premier League. Last year’s orange cap holder Ruturaj Gaikwad’s batting in that match was a matter of concern for Chennai.
However, after two years, Dhoni’s half-century innings had definitely given a new feather to the team’s hopes.
Chennai team could hardly achieve the target of 131 runs in the match. Apart from Dhoni, no batsman could show his strength from the Chennai side.
The good thing for CSK in this match is that Moeen Ali will be available. His arrival will not only give CSK an additional bowling option but will also give depth to the batting order.
CSK’s opening pair – Ruturaj Gaikwad along with New Zealand’s left-handed batsman Devan Kanway can open the innings for CSK. Both could not do much in the first match.
Gaikwad could not even open the account while Kanve could only score 3 runs. It will be the responsibility of both of them to give a good start to CSCO.
CSK in the middle order – Talking about CSK in the middle order, the team has good options in the form of Robin Uthappa, Abati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja, and Shivam Dube.
Dhoni’s batting in the last match had worked as a new energy for the team. Apart from this, the arrival of Moeen Ali will add depth to the team’s batting.
In bowling, the team has the option of fast bowling in the form of CSK- Adam Milne, Tushar Deshpande, and Dwayne Bravo.
Bravo’s magic worked in the last match and he took 3 wickets for 20 runs. With the arrival of Moeen Ali, the team has the best option of spin bowling in him and Jadeja.
Probable playing XI for Chennai:
Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devan Kanve, Robin Uthappa, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube, MS Dhoni (wk), Dwayne Bravo, Moeen Ali, Adam Milne, and Tushar Deshpande.
